Well f-bodies are notorious for having a low hood clearance. So instead of trying to fight it, I just went like; "fuck it, lets just cut a big stinkin hole in the hood!"

I am just so torn about the second gen though, they looked great but performance, not so much... Then we have the 4th gen, uglier than dirt but good numbers...

So really, my only choices: 1st gen or 5th gen!

Naaaaah I'd like to keep it NA man, you know that pure throttle response and all. (Also I can't afford a blower).

An early 70' or 71' 2nd gen was faster that anything you could get from GM during the 60's. Therefore 2nd gen is the best!

You can fit a 315 back there with no flares or minitub.

Really?, has to be with a very small profile in that case. Largest I have heard of on an unmodified 2nd gen f-body are 295's.

My current dream setup would be 255/70 R15 in the front 275/70 R15 in the back. Would like to go 295's in the back but they (BF Goodrich Radials) only make them up to a 60 profile.

I want to say it's a 315 on a 17" wheel. Too much sidewall on a smaller rim size.
